Gippsland Region Tennis Finals
Well Done to both Candice Bramwell and Ekhai Imhagwe who competed at the Gippsland Region Tennis Finals, at the Traralgon Tennis Association last Wednesday 26th April. A fantastic effort by both with Ehkai placing 3rd in his group and Candice who placed first overall and progressing to the State Championships in Melbourne later this month. Good Luck Candice!
Victorian State Swimming Championships
Congratulations grade 6 student Chloe Szkwarek on her performance at the recent State Swimming Championships. The finals were held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre at Albert Park Lake, Melbourne last Friday 28th April. Chloe competed against the State's best in the girls 12/13 year old Butterfly and Backstroke events, placing 5th in Butterfly and an amazing 2nd place in Backstroke with a personal best. Outstanding effort Chloe, well done!
Traralgon District Cross Country
St Michael's was proud to see 30 students represent our school at today's Traralgon District Cross Country event, at Agnes Brereton Reserve.
Our school placed 3rd overall with 8 students progressing through to the Latrobe Valley Division Cross Country - Levi Stanistreet, Xander Szkwarek, Mack Prince, Poppy Howe, Sibella MacPherson, Chloe Rawson, Chloe Szkwarek and Hudson Smith. The Division event is being held at Gaskin Park, Churchill on Wednesday 17th May.
I would like to congratulate everyone on a wonderful morning of hard work and great camaraderie, you were all fantastic representatives of our school.
