Grandparents Day
This special day will be held on Friday 16th June starting at 2:30pm with the children lining up under the shelter.
The children will be grouped with their siblings, cousins and other family members so that they will be in the one classroom with their grandparents. There will be activities to do together during that time. If grandparents are not available on this day another special person can attend in their place.
The Seymour Street gate will be open from 2:25pm. There will be QR codes at this gate to assist with signing in and staff will be present to assist with this process.
Please take note of these important dates:
- Grandparents Day - Friday 16th June at 2:30pm
- Student Led Conferences - Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st June
- Semester One reports released to PAM - Thursday 22nd June
- Last Day of Term Two - Friday 23rd June 2pm finish
- Start of Term Three - Monday 10th July 9am.
Kind regards,
Jodie
News from the Parents and Friends Group
Hello to all the families out there on behalf of the P&F committee, we all hope you have had a fantastic term 2. The Mother’s Day stall was a great success and we hope all the mums and special people out there had a great day with their kids.
We now move onto our next fund-raiser for the year. We will be holding a Lamington drive, sponsored by the Heyfield Bakery. Chocolate and/or Raspberry lamingtons can be ordered for $10 per tray (each tray holds 6 x large cubed lamingtons). $3 from each tray sold goes back to St Michaels, so we appreciate your support.
Further details will be sent through in an email to families on how to order through CDF pay. Orders will close on the 22nd of June and will be distributed the first week back of term 3 on Thursday the 13th of July. We would like to thank all the families for your ongoing support throughout the year. Finally a huge thankyou to Heyfield Bakery for your generosity and support.
The Second Hand uniform shop will be open every 4th Thursday of the month starting June 22nd from 3:00pm to 3:30pm. The stall is located in the large meeting room at the school, so those wishing to purchase items will need to enter through the main office.
Kind regards,
Josh Martyn - President.
