St. Michael’s Primary School has a long tradition of supporting our local St. Vincent de Paul Society. Each year we support two collections for St Vinnies: mid year, for the collection of cans for the winter and December, for the Christmas Appeal.

In week 2 of Term 3, on Friday 26th July at 11:30am, we will celebrate our support of this valuable part of our community with a whole school mass. We extend the invitation to you all to come along and celebrate the Eucharist with us.

After the holidays we will start collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the St Vinnies winter appeal. These items might include cans of soup, baked beans, vegetables, tuna …… cans that might be used to create a meal.
