Hello, my name is Kylie, I've been a part of the Parents & Friends since my children started at St Michael's. As that is coming to and end this year, I want to encourage other parents/care givers/guardians to join. I have enjoyed my time as part of the committee and have met some great people. Being part of this group is great as you can help out your school with fundraising. These fundraisers help the school to purchase equipment  for our children as well as other things which they can participate in.

I personally enjoyed doing the Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls and seeing the kid's faces when choosing their presents for their special people. Participating in the end of year disco has brought me so much joy as I got to see the kids having fun as they spent time together with their friends at such an amazing event. We also run drives such as the hot cross buns and lamingtons, things for the whole family not just the kids. 

So, if you are looking at helping or wish to be more active in your children's schooling please consider joing the P & F. It is a wonderful way to meet other parents as well as participate in the fundraisers that help our school. You should definitely consider joining, everyone is welcome!
