Strong Performances from St Michael’s at Division Winter Sports
On Thursday, 19th June, St Michael’s Football and Netball teams proudly represented our school at the Latrobe Valley Division Winter Sports—and what a day it was!
Our AFL Football team showcased skill, teamwork, and determination, winning all but one of their matches. It was a remarkable effort from start to finish, with each player contributing to the team’s strong performance. This near-perfect record is a testament to their commitment and sportsmanship.
Meanwhile, our Girls Netball team delivered an outstanding performance, remaining undefeated throughout the entire competition. Their convincing wins across the day earned them a well-deserved spot in the upcoming Regional Championships. What an incredible achievement!
We are immensely proud of all our students who competed with enthusiasm and integrity. These successes would not have been possible without the generous support of our dedicated teachers, LSO's and parent volunteers. Thank you for giving your time, energy, and encouragement—it made all the difference.
