Dear Parents, Carers and Guardians, 

Congratulations to our amazing Grade 5/6 students! The Market Day was a roaring success and it was wonderful to see their hard work and planning come to fruition. We raised $3549.15 for the community of Zambia.  

By participating in organised days like these, our students are living the Gospel; being missionaries of Jesus and helping those in need. The monies raised from the Market Day stall will support a community in Zambia to have access to clean water and sustainable foods. Thank you to all families who supported this social justice action! We are so grateful for your support and encouragement. A big thank you to the Grade 5/6 teaching team as we know that this takes a lot of planning and organisation on your part too. 

Tree audits 

As a school we are required to complete regular safety and compliance audits across the school. Our most recent tree audit determined that we have some unsafe trees that need to be fully removed or have some limbs removed. You may notice some work being carried out on the grassed area in the coming weeks. 

Shopping Tour 

Join us for our annual St Michael’s Shopping Tour on Friday 14th November. This night is always a fabulous event which kicks off at Grow Master, then all participants wander the streets of Traralgon, buying items from participating stores and supporting local businesses. There are huge discounts, which is a great way to start the Christmas shopping or treat yourself. Tickets can be purchased using the links located below in the pink flyer. A massive thank you to our Parents and Friends committee for their organisation of the night. 

A reminder there is no school for students on Friday 31st October, Monday 3rd November and Tuesday 4th November due to the Melbourne Cup Long Weekend.
