Welcome back to term 2. It has been lovely to see the children return to school excited to see their friends and teachers. It has been lovely to hear about their holidays and how they enjoyed time with their families.

As I am sure you have noticed, Latrobe City are currently upgrading our school crossing on Kay Street. This has meant a slight change to the position of the crossing whilst these works occur. Two traffic controllers have been employed to assist Helen, the school crossing supervisor in keeping our children safe as they cross. We appreciate your patience and understanding whilst this work is being completed.

I have also been advised that Catholic School Parents Victoria (CSPV) is presenting a free webinar this Saturday 24th April, between 10:30am-12pm for parents of children in primary and secondary school to support parents of children with anxiety.

A reminder that Thursday 29^th April is a school closure day. This is one of eight days we are entitled to have to provide professional learning for teachers, outside of the time spent after school. Where possible, we endeavour to spread them out across the year to minimise the impact on families. These dates are listed in the calendar on the website.
