As you are aware last term the St Michael’s School Community collected non-perishable items for St Vincent De Paul. After being set the target of donating 1000 items, the children very excitedly collected cans and other non-perishable items in their classrooms.

At the Whole School Mass, on the last Thursday of Term 2, we presented our donation to the St Vincent De Paul Society representative, Lyn Burns. I am very excited to announce that our school community proudly donated 1,261 items to St Vinnies. The children received 15 minutes extra playtime on Thursday afternoon. 

We send a huge “thank you” to all of our school families. Thanks to your generosity, St Vinnies will be able to provide care and support for many families in the Traralgon community.
