Mission work - Ethiopia
Across the world the Catholic Church celebrates Mission Month in October. Each year Catholic Mission chooses a country or community that is in need of assistance. The time, effort and financial focus throughout that year is then on this country. The aim is to provide the community with support that is sustainable and ongoing so that the community can continue to benefit for the future rather than just once.
This brings highlight to Catholic Missions current projects in Ethiopia. As I have previously shared, one of the projects in Ethiopia is to develop a Goat Rearing Centre in Embider. The community in Embider will be provided with ongoing benefit from the Goat Rearing Centre.
So far our community of St Michael’s have raised $300. This is enough money to buy 3 goats!
